The girls, the boys and I were all super excited for a special diary event that was due to happen on Thursday 20th December. Our lovely friend, supermodel and DJ Sophie Anderton was hosting her own Christmas Party at Eclipse nightclub in South Kensington, London. It had been a while since we had a catch up so a perfect way to celebrate the festivities and pickle our organs a little more on what is now known as 'organ pickling week' - AKA, the week before Christmas when everyone gets into the spirit and over indulges just a little bit more than usual!
Much to my surprise, this night, for me and my wonderful other half (not Nixalina!) is now set to be a spine-tingling, tear-jerking, smiley face date that we will never forget. The significant other in my life (again, not Nixalina) and I arrived at our plush West End hotel to chillax a little as we were getting glammed up into our finest labels ready for the night ahead. I was treated by him to a beautiful Dianne Von Furstenburg LBD as an early Christmas present, thanks to our favourite designer boutique Love Is, in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. I was mid nail-painting when he popped open a bottle of champagne and poured two glasses. He'd danced (not literally) around the room all evening and my suspicions of what was to come had increased at his choice of Champers over the beer in the mini-bar. To cut a long story short, it wasn't long before his gorgeous little nervous face was face to face with mine telling me that I was the love of his life and I was blinded by the most perfect diamond engagement ring I could have wished for.
My answer, of course, was YES!
I couldnt have been happier and what better way to do it, just before we were off to meet our nearest and dearest friends to celebrate in style! We partied so hard, I actually turned up to work the next day still drunk, drunk on champagne and happiness! oooops!
IM ENGAGED!

The Event: The Rehab Hair Charity Fashion Event
The Location: The Lamborghini and Bentley showroom, Sevenoaks, Kent
On Thursday 18th October, after months of planning, meetings, castings and the usual amount of pre-event nerves and hiccups guests arrived at the Lamborghini and Bentley showrooms ready for the glitziest fashion show Kent had ever seen in aid of two really worthy children’s charities ‘The EllenorLions Hospices which provide all encompassing hospice care and a seamless service for adults living in Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley and surrounding villages and chYps – the children’s and young people’s home hospice service which extends further afield into Bexley and Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells’
The Fashion event organised by Elliott Harlin-Bethall owner of Rehab Hair and I was also in collaboration with Choice Ltd, the designer Mens and Womens wear independent stores and wow did we put on a great show for all our guests!
The show opened and presented by Adam Child, winner of CH4’s Shipwrecked and supermodel Sophie Anderton kicked off with a champagne and canapé reception thanks to local bar / restaurant El Matedor before guests were shown to their seats to watch the very talented young dancers of X-treme beats street dance school open the show with their very energetic, amazing display of backflips, power kicks and cartwheels off of a trampoline on stage! Then came the fashion show, showcasing Choice Clothings key trends for the current and next season. We saw the likes of Moncler, Alexander McQueen, Forever Unique, Burberry Brit, Y-3, Vivienne Westwood, Dolce & Gabbana, Paul Smith, Barbour, Chloe, Mulberry and Gina to name just a few through the six key trends – Heritage, Cocktail Hour, Grunge, American Sweetheart, It’s all about the bag and Winter Sports as modelled by local, national and celebrity models including Dannika from the current season of Take Me Out.
Legendary DJ Danny Quattro filled the venue with a great compilation of tunes before the luxury raffle and auction prizes were announced and presented to the lucky winners. Items such as Olympic winner memorabilia, signed Ruby and Football shirts, a magnum of champagne and beauty treatments at Beautique, situated next door to Rehab Hair Salon on London Road which left big smiles on the faces of the lucky winners as they left to head to the after party also at El Mattedor.
All in all it was great night raising over £10k for our chosen charities and we’re already gearing up for next years Fashion Event post the opening of 2 brand new branches of Rehab Hair in Essex.
Huge thanks go to: Lucia at Lamborghini, El Mattedor, Choice Clothing, The team at Rehab Hair, SRD Productions, Extreme Beats Dance School, DJ Danny Quattro, Adam Child, Sophie Anderton, our models (Abbie, Amy, Danielle, Dannika, Fran, Jessica, Peggy, Ruby, Siobhan, Alex, Andrew, Ashton, Callum, David, Dan, Ben and Matt)

Sorry for the short and lack of posts recently folks, the city day job, and mummy duties are taking over. BUT, I didnt want to go without posting a little something about the 2012 Vogue's Fashion Night Out - from style superstars to chic shoppers, to special events all over London, its a night held for one night only all over London just before LFW.
This year, as always, I was all monica from friends on your ass about the precision schedule for my best friend 'Nixalina of Sex and London City' and our mutual bestie supermodel Sophie Anderton. We stayed mainly around Bond Street and Old Bond Street, starting off at the Burlington Arcade for our first flute of champagne. We then went to Tiffany, Dior, DKNY, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Aspinal. It was exhausting! Lovely to see so many familiar faces, be spoilt rotten by the press officers in store who let me do my 'Samantha Jones' thang and skip any queue that was waiting with the entourage in tow!
Looking forward to next year!
Huge thanks to Pushka Fashion for lending me the Aqua Valentina Pencil Dress by So Couture - love love X
Big love to Luke Yates of Way Ahead Photography for being not only fabulous for Aspinall of London but for being fabulous to me! Great photographer (bottom left pic)

Ambassador Georg Boomgaarden in collaboration with Schön! Magazine hosted the “Welcome to Deutschland!” pre-Olympic event celebrating creative industries on board of dreamliner MS Deutschland on Wednesday evening.
German fashion and lifestyle glossy Schön! Magazine is a prime example of the global success of German creative industries. German-born Londoner editor-in-chief Raoul Keil is also the mastermind behind creative network site Nineteen74.com, aiming to create an “epicentre” for talented artists from around the globe.
We docked the boat of epic proportions after a serious security check as if we were sailing away to a land far away. Greeted by a titanic proportion of staff up on the 9th deck all eagerly awaiting to ensure we had a glass of vino in our hand and were tempted by the delicious Bavarian Beer House canapes.
We mingled, we danced the night away to some awesome tunes by DJ JonBenet Blonde, we had fun in the coco photobooth, we played the Grand Piano before finally drenching ourselves and frolicking in the pool!
Thank you to Schon and their sponsors for a fantastic night!

One of the best things about being a blogger is all the fabulous opportunities you are faced with, from sharing money cant buy experiences to be treated VIP style.
Thanks to Nazila Love Glamour, Ghost the Musical and Godminster I was treated (thoroughly spoilt) to a true VIP experience in the heart of London’s Theatre land on Friday evening.
Having tickets to see Ghost the musical was a treat in itself, as an old (literally these days!) fan of the romantic drama film starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, I was curious how well it could have been adapted from film to suit the stage, whether the cast really could portray the characters in the film well enough to make you feel that emotional rollercoaster ride you felt whilst sitting in front of the box crying your eyes out when Sam Wheat was shot or when you found out it really was Carl Bruner who had set up his murder!
I arrived at the Picadilli theatre, Denman Street and was greeted by Amazing PR who gifted me with my tickets before I head straight to the American Airlines bar for my Godminster Aromatic Garden Cocktail. Whilst sipping the delights of this heavenly drink (my first alcoholic beverage for aaaages) I was treated to my Nail Glitz Manicure.
Nazila Love Glamour were thrilled to have joined forces with one of the West End’s hottest shows – Ghost the Musical. Their Nail Glitz has a comprehensive selection of 3d nail designs with their unique on-trend seasonal collections for 2012 and beyond. I was delighted to have been gifted a set, the perfect finish to make any outfit look expensive! Not only did the goodybag come with a set of Nail Glitz but also the soundtrack to the show (pressie for mum obviously!) and two sets of Nazila lashes – what more could I ask for........

The performance was stunningly staged, witty, funny, sad, emotional and definitely a must see next time you’re in theatre land!
After the performance a select group of us were lead onto the stage and were treated to a meet and greet the main cast members. Clearly feeling a little brave and after having discussed the chemistry between the two leads on stage, and having been dared to, I said to them ‘the chemistry between you too is incredible, you’re clearly sleeping together’ to which she replied ‘yep, and twice on Friday’s’! LUCKY LUCKY WOMEN! Ha ha ha!

Thursday 29th March was the date. The venue - the fabulous rooftop bar at Aqua Nueva, Argyll Street. Why were we all there? to officially launch the exclusive 'F*** me Im famous' collection of watches by Cathy Guetta. Did we celebrate in style? Hell yeah! With a very generous cocktail and canape menu, Nixalina of Sex and London City got stuck straight in!
Cathy Guetta, wife of David is synonymous with the most elite of Ibiza party nights, and boy does she bring her inimitable style and sense of glamour to this exciting new collaboration with the Ice-Watch brand. The colletion includes fun summer graphics and bright colours including turquiose and hot pink and will initially be exclusive to Selfridges, Oxford Street.
It was a perfect Ibiza style party in London to truly welcome the beautiful sunshine and the start of summer. Surrounded by the UK's most notable names in the media industry. We were treated to a DJ set by Danny Jones of McFly before chatting to his band members, shortly before this, newly-discovered singer Esmee Denters performed her latest single 'City Lights'.
Everyone needs an Ice Watch in their life, it really is the accessory to be seen wearing this summer!

On Thursday 23rd February, London's prestigeous Hurlingham Club played host to the third annual Rock Ball organised by Rick Parfitt Jnr who, following his own personal battle with Crohn's disease, set up The RPJ Crohn's Foundation in 2010. Through this flagship event, Rick's aim was to bring together rock royalty and fashion for an unforgettable evening; altogether raising awareness and funds for Crohn's & Colitis UK
The Rock Ball 2012 brought us live music from chart-topping British band The Feeling and solo singer-songwriter Melanie C who performed an awesome rendition of 'baby when your gone' with Rick Parfitt Snr, as well as a very glamorous high-fashion show produced by RPJ Crohn's Foundation patron, Sophie Anderton showcasing the latest collection of celebrity loved Swim and Beachwear by Melissa Odabash. I was there to assist the gorgeous Sophie Anderton with the running of her remarkably produced show and boy was it a show stopper!
Celebrities in attendance included - Melanie C, Sophie Ellis-Bexter, Brendan Cole, Amber Le Bon, Elen Rivas, Nicky Clarke, Rick Parfit
This was definitely an event to remember and I cannot wait for the next one! I had the most perfect dress for this high brow occassion, thank to forever unique, once again I felt a million dollars and was complimented all night. I tell you - I'll never shop anywhere else for formal gowns and party wear, they hit the nail on the head everytime! I heart forever unique!

Im back! No longer am I a 20's something blogging, social butterfly. I
recently hit the big three zero. Yes, despite my youthful appearance
and demeanour (I wish!) I am now thirty! I can honestly say the days
since I hit that milestone in my life have been the best i have had
for years. Not only did i acquire some new wheels for the occasion,
thanks to a few special people I have the pleasure of knowing, I was
utterly spoilt, making my birthday one of the best I can remember.
Following a champagne breakfast and being spoilt by my colleagues, my
afternoon was spent at my favourite hair and beauty haven in the whole
of the UK. Taylor Taylor London. Regularly voted one of Europe’s top
five cult celebrity hairdressers, Taylor Taylor London has been
featured in Vogue, Tatler, The Sunday Times and online sites including
Liberty London Girl, Grazia and Hello! to name a few. Previous
appointments have been in the company of Pixie Lott and Sir Ian
McKellan in the most beautiful of surroundings. My favourite colourist
Amy, at the Commercial street branch greeted me with the signature
Taylor Taylor London cocktail, the Espresso Martini, followed by a
rose bellini, and a head of highlights laters, a fantastically
relaxing head massage, wash and conditioning treatment later I was
ready to be styled. My little blonde bob was styled to curly
perfection! Huge thanks to Taylor Taylor London, in particular Amy who
made my day so special.
Next came a leisurely journey back to my hotel to quickly fix up and
look sharpe, greeted by my best friend with yet another glass of
bubbles. An hour later we arrived at our resaurant of choice with our
birthday dates. Mandaloun Westfield London Lebanese restaurant, bar
and lounge would play host for our fabulous evening ahead and was a
heaven of style, class and delights. We were once again utterly spoilt
in a frenzy of tastebud sensations. From the heavenly cocktails to the
subtle harmony of herbs and spices within our succulent mezze,
couscous, shawarmas, and mouth-watering grills and fish dishes. The
staff were utterly delightful, ensuring my night was certainly one to
remember. I had only once had a light bite at Mandaloun but now, it
will be my restaurant of choice - i couldnt have faulted a single
thing in terms of the food, the drink, the atmosphere, the prices or
the service.
After our meal, we were offered a table within the outdoor shisha
lounge and brought complimentary birthday shots. It truly was the
perfect end to what had been a perfect experience at Mandaloun,
Westfield.
Now all that is left to say is, WOW Im 30! Huge thanks to Westfield
London for my amazing Mandaloun experience and to Taylor Taylor London
for once again, transforming my dull lifeless barnett into a fabulous
styled mane!

The staff were utterly delightful, ensuring my night was certainly one to remember. I had only once had a light bite at Mandaloun but now, it will be my restaurant of choice - i couldnt have faulted a single thing in terms of the food, the drink, the atmosphere, the prices or the service.
After our meal, we were offered a table within the outdoor shisha lounge and brought complimentary birthday shots. It truly was the perfect end to what had been a perfect experience at Mandaloun, Westfield.
Now all that is left to say is, WOW Im 30! Huge thanks to Westfield London for my amazing Mandaloun experience and to Taylor Taylor London for once again, transforming my dull lifeless barnett into a fabulous styled mane!

Rubber craftsmen since 1853, Aigle brings its famous rubber boots to London! The store in the heart of Covent Garden opened its doors last week, providing London's Christmas shoppers with its iconic handmade rubber boots at a bespoke boot bar. We were lucky enough to have a preview of the store before its official opening and were greeted with delicious canapes, champagne and a few familiar faces from Prince Cassius to Erin O'Connor.
The Boot Bar will house a wide selection of Aigle's iconic rubber boots including the latest addition to the family - the Aigetine Boyfriend Boot. Developed with an eye on fashion trends and the other on the rugged authenticity of Aigle's classic men's boots, the Aigletine is an essential addition to every women's winter wardrobe!
Aigle - its not all about the boots you know, the new store will showcase the brands winter clothing and footwear collection too..... One must pay a little visit, stay warm this winter!

Thanks to Swatch / MTV I was lucky enough to be offered the experience of a fricking lifetime. An all expenses paid trip to the European Music Awards in Belfast. Literally, words cannot describe how amazing and utterly surreal the experience was.
I arrived in Belfast with a hand picked group of other bloggers from all over the world, Madrid, Paris, Berlin and as far as China and Brazil. We were transported to the Hilton Hotel to unpack and rest, I mean, my jet-lag from London was harsh, I needed a rest! The city of Belfast was buzzing, Bieber Fever was taking over and there were fans cruising the entire city from place to place to see if they could track the ickle dude down, banners, hoodies, the lot - these fans were HARDCORE!
We were taken to the Swatch store at the Victoria Shopping Centre to check out the new collection of digital touch swatch watches whilst sipping on champagne and nbbling canapes - signs on the door 'corporate event, no celebs' were displayed due to the bieber madness earlier in the day when the fans thought he was in store and tried to get in by pressing themselves so hard against the glass it nearly caved in! We had a little demonstration and play with the new snap dance technology which by the way is fricking awesome! After, we went for dinner at Deanes restaurant where we indulged in the tasiest ever 4 course meal with Jeremy Scott, Faye Dinsmore and lots of other press memebers from Dazed and Confused, Vice Magazine to name a few.
We all woke up with sheer excitement for what was planned for the day ahead. We travelled to Bushmills for a traditional Sunday roast before heading to the 400 year old distillery for a private tour and whisky tasting, gifted with our very own personalised bottle before heading back to the hotel to get ready for ......... THE EMA's baby!
The hype was awesome the drinks were flowing and we were seating inside the Odyssey Arena pretty close to the stage where the awards were accepted. Chris Martin opened the show, having never seen Coldplay live I was utterly impressed and now on a mission to get tickets for their UK tour next month! So there we all were, bopping away to live performances from Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Jessie J, Queen with Bruno Mars, Snow Patrol and LMFAO - it was so hot you could feel the burn!
Following the show, we were transferred to Hotel Europa where MTV hosted the VIP adventures of the pleasure planet party set with 5 themed rooms full of complimentary drinks, food, and performances by artists such as Katy B, Mylo, Feral, and Jessie Wood. We partied on planet neon, we lounged in lush exotica of tropicana, we danced all night in the batty bass galactic gate crash and we relaxed in the surreal surroundings of the Piano Bar.
Words cannot describe how utterly awesome my Swatch / MTV VIP experience for the European Music Awards in Belfast was. For 2 days, I lived the dream!
